Events at Woodridge
Mark your calendars for the 2008 West Peoria Easter Egg Hunt to be held at Woodridge Sunday, March 16th!

In 2005, 2006 and 2007 West Peoria families participated in collecting the thousands of Easter eggs scattered across the lawn at Woodridge. The children enjoyed candy and prizes. Plus they were treated to a visit from the Easter Bunny! The Egg Hunt is sponsored by the West Peoria Township.
In March 2007 the City of West Peoria Economic Development held a meeting of West Peoria Business owners at Woodridge. The meeting featured the mayor of Lacon telling of the success his TIF District has had in Lacon.
In September of 2006, the West Peoria Residents Association sponsored an outdoor concert on the front lawn of Woodridge. All local residents were invited to come and enjoy the swinging music of the Swing Daddies and their neighbors' company. |

The West Bluff Tour of Homes featured Woodridge as a showcase architectural treasure of Peoria's West Bluff in May 2006.
The Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting ceremony for the Grand Opening of the Woodridge Professional Building in April 2006.

The Peoria area Model A Ford club - the "4 Ever
4's" - meet at 7 PM the third Tuesday of each month
at Woodridge Professional Building. If interested in joining the
group, come to a meeting or contact group president Kathy Urban
at 691-8017. The 4 Ever 4's group is active in local parades and car shows. The members also partake in several short or long tours each year. |
